this is confusing in a way that it doesn say anythin..
do U mean to imply that galileo stated something which was hypothesis till it was proven.., n till that date wat people perceived ( ur case the earth being flat ) was the fact.,
whatever may be hypothetical today may become fact tomorrow(though only for some).. take evolution for that matter.. nobody is certain except Darwin for the theory he states.. or the Ram setu.. a faction believes it to be factual while others simply term it as mythical.. facts in my opinion are falacity.. its only the perception that matters
Facts are concluded when different options comes on one table... else Earth is flat might never be proved wrong in world of those, who never gave a damn to different option!!!!!!
Look, old fact is, words out of mouth can't be taken back... and new fact is, one can delete the words in virtual world.... check my comment above ;)
