this is so so absurd.
1. children have a uniform in schools and teacher's don't
2. children have to wear a tie and nothing for teachers
3. a teacher has drawers to keep his books and children have to carry a bag full of books to school
4. a teacher can avail leaves whenever he/she wishes but they pester the children on taking a leave

Randomly came across your blog. Now I think school uniforms are really a good/bad thing.
On the good side, it reduces kids from being made fun of due to their clothing. This is really a big issue when it comes to ostracizing and bullying. Since everyone dresses the same. (This still doesn't fix the personality problem though.)
On the bad side, it makes kids conform and conformity equals less independent thinking. I feel that's a huge problem with out current society. It just turns children into drones.
School is just a bad system really. I dropped out at a young age because it was simply too slow for me. I was always the top of my class, it was too easy, and too slow. I got bored to death to simply put it haha.
