Einstein once happened to tell me [:D] that you can attain 99.99% of the speed of light or 101% tthe speed of light, but never exactly the speed of light.
P.S: As an object approaches light speed its mass begins to expand exponentially into infinity and, as a result, it never attains 'C' or light speed.
