brief idea;
this post is abt a question put up by kapil, n views of 4 people abt the same..
kapil:
a question for you:: is the world scared of a revolutionary....if not then why does it resent change??
vikram:
the world is scared of the rebellious i suppose.,
not the revolutionary..
rebellion is more on a personal scale where as a revolutionary involves some similar thinkin people..
some peopl r scared of revolution., only those against whom the revolution is takin place..
n as far as resentment of change is considered humans simply hate change in the first go.,
it is said tht wen bath tubs were introduced in the U.S., they were opposed for literally a year.,
it was a debatable issue in the parliament..
kapil:
rebellion leads to a revolution.....
it is the uncomfort of one man that makes others realise of similar discomfort
and hence revolutionary thoughts but at first ppl are scared of it and resent it......
as in case of any change......but why does this feeling differ in quality from one man to another is a mystery to me....
is it because of the enviornment that you have been raised up in or is it according to your experiences
or perhaps because someone may have nothin to loose to be scared of the consequences of the change
vikram:
there are various factors as to why this feeling differs in quality and U hav in a way summarised most of them.
1. enviornment that you have been raised up ., no two children in a family are same., even aftr most of the upbringin is same at times.,
but the idea here., things keep changing., its nature's law.,
its like sayin
change is the only constant..
2. is it according to your experiences .,well our experiences form our perceptions and these perceptions play a significant role in our future experiences.,
3. peopl dnt like risks.,
and anythin unknown is risky to them.,
they somehow want to knw wat they are bein introduced to..
the secure feelin thing is why the concept of god still prevails.,
if all of us were rebellious., there wud be no God.,
no stupidity on this planet..
kapil:
"stupidity" nice word to phrase it.....but if change is the only constant then why do ppl are scared of taking risks
its probably like comfort more than discomfort....and any kind of risk requires hard work.....
ppl like anything and everything thats settled and not moving even if it is a sewage......
as long as it does not change or does anything nasty...even if it does well compromise becomes the golden word.
ansh:
nice question....t world hates change...it is not scared of 1...
we all deep inside wanna b 1...but when we c some1 come up with such an idea
we loath our very existence nd try to crush his's this makes us feel somewat special...
kapil:
is it that we loath it because deepinside we know that we may not be able to carry it until the very end?
it just proves that one does not have the balls to fulfill his very thoughts!!
vikram:
end of the day.,man strives for comfort but the irony is.,
he never wants to work for it.
n why people oppose it so much is because.,
they will have to step into somethin.,
a new process has to be learnt again.,
moreover many love it so much wen they finish their studies.,
cuz studies form a very big part of change.,n moreover a lotta things r new..
a man's affinity for comfort is the only reason why there is so much technological development..
its like this.,
the rebels think of it.,
work hard for it.,
wen half the work is done.,
they get some comrades..
wen the revolution starts people oppose it.,
n they take time to adapt to it.,
n finally all shit heads., follow it as a new way of life...
ritom:
dekh as per me....t world does.....as whn v r u say "world" it only comprises of a tiny piece of mass...tat don't lik changes.....nd who makes t decisions...the "world" as u r refferin 2 doesn't want their world 2 change...in turn makin othr beleive wot they beleive....now few peoples do try 2 revolutionize r so but in turn they got fked up by tat tiny ,"powerful" piece of world tat v r takin abt.....it do takes a very very brave man 2 overcom such mass......nd there r people who did...revolutionizin t world wot v see now...but again after reacin a "mu" point...those peoples becomes part of t world tat don't want changes...so itz mor lik a circle of complex thng.......i guess iu gettin wot am i tryin 2 say.......wot abt u???

Well the point is those seeking a change should not and are not supposed to fear the consequences of the same. When one realises that one has a better and more efficient brain than those around him, his active self seeks change (although the point is that it is not necessaary that a change which is good for one may not be so for others, as we have seen in the case of Nazi Germany). This active self must realise that if he limits himself to the bindings of the world (family, marriage)then he is letting a useful talent go waste. Rising up to your word is what makes the impossible possible.
Oh by the way....Kapil is me and Vikram even nightcrawler is me!!
well of'course we hate change... though its for ur good sake or other way, it doesnt matter.. this is a general thought n as u put it out, one is averse to it as he doesnt want to rearrange the well-set routine..
its like the frog story.. one frog is in a water bowl, water's temp is increasing slowly, he feels nice in start, then he gets relaxed..temp increases.. but frog ignores the 'changes' as it can tolerate it.. but when it starts boiling, he's trapped n so faces the eventual....
i read it in a rather scientific novel..it was rather concerned with mumbai getting denser.. ppl r too accustomed to some things , n though they know this should change, they prefer to stay the same.. till some disaster demands it...
second thought i came across is like change makes its vibrations felt. it dethrones some ppl of their watsoever status n makes others to takeover them.. now prior to the change, these former ppl wont allow this to happen so easily.. they'll make ppl feel, wats being offered to them now is the best n the others are jus viruses, scratching the ethical walls.. this is a simple point, no need of any examples..
so if the rebellions are strong, they cause the revolution or else they have to face results like 1857 fallouts.. as simple as that..
